What Matters Most in the Diamond?
You don't need to become a diamond expert. Kuhn's diamonds are certified by GIA and IGI, every purchase includes a certificate of authenticity, and our team hand-picks diamonds in Antwerp, Belgium. Tell us what you care about and we'll guide the rest.
What matters most to you?
- Cut: How well a diamond is shaped to reflect light. It has the biggest effect on sparkle.
- Color: How colorless a diamond is. Less color usually means a brighter, icier look.
- Clarity: Tiny natural marks inside or on the diamond. Many are invisible without magnification.
- Carat: The diamond's weight, which affects its size. A great setting can make a diamond look larger.

That's one of the most common questions we hear, especially with surprise proposals. Most gold, platinum, and sterling silver rings can be resized in our shop, usually within a few days. Sizing beads are another option for a snug fit without a full resize. Stop in for a free estimate.
Every engagement ring or wedding set purchased at Kuhn's includes full coverage insurance for the first year.
Repairs are done in Kuhn's own shop by our Master Bench Jewelers, including prong re-tipping, loose stone tightening, and stone replacement. Estimates are free, no appointment needed, and we repair jewelry bought anywhere.
Yes. Design a custom ring in the Custom Design Galleria, or add a date, initials, or message with in-house engraving. Most engraving is ready in 2 to 4 business days.
